Almost ready to release Part 2 of Ephraim's tale. Since I'm no longer working with Starbase Adelphi as a GM, I'm going to have to post it here for those that do read this little corner of my world.

Well, its been sent off to FSF Trinity. Just waiting for her to post it. She informed me that she really liked it and its made me really proud of the effort I've put into it. I've already got the next part of the trilogy in the writing process. Its slow right now, but I hope to be releasing it between March and June.[ add comment ] | permalink |

I'm almost ready to submit my second Commander's Table story and figured I should give a preview here. The only thing missing is an ad for Starbase Adelphi, which I'll be working on this month.
For your viewing eyes, I present the following:
Ephraim stepped through the metal detector that had separated the many that had come to watch the ceremonies and the secured area that surrounded the legislative building. Just ahead of him, his father stood waiting for Ephraim to finish clearing the checkpoint. The police officer nodded the all clear just as the noise of the crowd died down and the distant sounds of explosions could be heard.
"Probably just a refinery fire." said Revaka as he turned and started walking up the stairs.
Ephraim shrugged his shoulders in agreeance and walked to catch up with his father. He never caught up with him for that moment, five rockets came tearing across the sky and impacted with the front of the legislative building, kicking up dust and debris in their wake.
Chaos ensued as people ran wherever they could for cover. Another rocket flew by and hit a recently built clock tower. Ephraim choked on the dust from the explosions and looked for where his father was in the blinding smoke. A nearby gas main started shooting up in flames, providing some light.
"Father!!" Ephriam cried out through the screams of the injured and of the living. He saw the limp form of his father at the bottom of the stairs to the ruins of what was the legislative building. Revaka's body was a crumpled heap of flesh and bone. Blood flowed from numerous cuts and gashes, including a deep on on his right thigh embedded with shrapnel.

I just wanted to take the opportunity to update those that watch this blog on the numerous writing projects that I am currently working on.
First off, I'm in the finishing edits of a Commander's Table tale for my character on Starbase Adelphi, Captain Ephraim Renais. I hope to be finished so that it can be submitted for entry either next month or July.
As for my other characters, I'm still in the midst of what stories to write for them. Most of my writing energy has been focused towards Ephriam's tale.
But on a side thing, I've started doing some joint writing with one of the simmers I met on Starfleet Delta. My character, Frank O'Connor, is even married to hers. I'm asking for her permission to place our writing here and in my own private blog. If I do get her permission to go ahead, they will be placed under the USS Aegis category as that is the ship we are using for these posts.
