It has been forever since I last posted on this thing! I have been so busy with University ><. I am loving all my classes so far and my International Relations course is WONDERFUL! We are reading about the Japanese invasion of Korea in the 1500s. The teacher is a little dry...but we don't have to do a term paper! All my other classes are moving along as well as can be expected, and midterms are coming up.
On a lighter note....
Monday was Thanksgivign here in Canada and It was great. I went to a friend's house for dinner and made stuffing to bring. I am still full from that! BUt losing a day this week has made the week that much harder...I feel so behind in everything! Arg....o well, that is why we have weekends!

Just spent a wonderful week in DC visiting my brother. We went all over this trip and had a mustang! Very nifty car...but awful to sit in for a few hours...I think I can still feel it. Anywho we got to see the pandas!!!!! They are so cute and sleep all the time! Everyone about freaked when one rolled over. But I got to see the big male walk around before he passed out. But other then that we went to Mount Vernon and Gettysburg. They had the best tours and we spent all day there and explored the little towns around. Also had crabcakes everyday we were there! That is one of my lifes missions in DC heh. But can't wait to see my brother again at Cristmas.
Also recently drove into Chicago for the first time ever! It was so much fun until I got lost for about an hour. After freaking out and bearly going into downtown Chicago I was able to figure out where I was and get to my friends house. After a nice visit with her I went to pick up my grandma. The way back was much easier...except the rain >_< I couldn't see where I was going! But after going really really slow on the interstate I was finally able to make it home safely with my grandma. We saw a car thou that wan't so lucky, got crushed between two trucks, but all the people seemed to be ok.

I'm bored! There has been nothing really going on except work and well...work. I am going to be working my very first concert! I am kinda excited, but really have nothing to do. I hope the guy will be good, but one of the guys brought a DVD just in case we all get really bored around here.
On a sad note I will not be able to attend a SCA event this weekend. I love going to Ren fairs and the like, and with school coming back up I might not be able to get to any in a long long time. But anywho back to work for me!

well well well...where to begain....It has been a long time indeed. Right now my summer has moved from a relaxing crawl to a mad dash into chaos. I finished my summer class, and got a A in it too, great teacher. Been on a few trips to visit the fam and even got an SCA event in their too. Right now I have started to plan out the next five years of my life and it just hurts >_<. Right now it is teaching in Japan, Grad school, and international work with a drug/research company.
But on a lighter note, my friend and I went to a concert the other day. We saw 30 seconds to Mars...but that was not the reason for us going. Kill Hannah was there and they were amazing!!!! They are a band out of Chicago, and their music is the best. They have a new CD coming out like today or tomorrow. I can't wait to pick it up.

Well it is back to the frind for me for the next 4 weeks. My summer class isn't looking all that bad...besides my entire grade rests on two papers...but that ok ^_^. I am a total nerd with papers...especially when I can rattle on about politics (Its not my thing...but I seem to be really good with Asian politics and government). Right now all I have to worry about is keeping up with my reading, but it is rather light compaired to what some of my classes have been like. Looking to be an interesting 4 weeks!
Also on the ligher side at work, one of my co-workers enrountered a pair of cute little bats. Sadly I was not there to see (I love everything...except spiders >_<). Also there was a children camp and the head guy gave us some fruit roll-ups!

It has been forever!! @-@ I have been so busy with life, the universe, and everything inbetween. Last month I went to the Indy 500 with my fam and what a race! (Marco is so cute, was so sad he lost to Sam Hornish).
Lately I have just been so busy with work. There are so many projects and had a big softball match start this weekend. While working on the field I got a really nasty sunburn on my back and legs. Soon we are going to start cleaning all the hockey glass and just paint, so exciting >_<. But I am rather lucky this year, I am working with a nice girl about my age. It is really nice to have someone to talk to while you are working. Aside from getting attacked by spiders and ants as I am painting outside, almost had a stage turst dropped on me because it didn't get pushed out far enought until that side was stuck on a railing. This thing weights over 600 lb with all the curtains and things on it, thankfully I know not to stand directly under anything like that. *sighs and shakes head* More importantly nothing got broken on the turst because we were doing a set up (while looks so lovely ^_^).
Finally starting my summer class this monday! Going to take Islam: Religion and Culture! I am super excited. But I hate it when I tell people about the class and they are like "Why do you want to learn about Those people...?" What is that all about?? Ignorance must be bliss for people all over the world. But also Islam is a major part of Asia, especially southern Asia! And man do I love Asia...heheh feel another rant coming on about it, but that will be for another day!

It was such a nice day today! Blue skies and a warm breeze. Right when I got home I went out onto the dock and nearly fell asleep watching the fish. The bluegill have come in and they are huge! Bigger then my entire hand! Also saw a few 3-6 pound bass swimming under the dock. My dad came out and we caught a few fish(we catch and release!). The dog is also doing better, she had to have surgery a week ago and is doing very well for a 14 year old border collie. I can't wait to get in the boat later this week and do some drifting and see if I can land a norther pike or musky![ add comment ] | permalink |

Sweet Swet Freedom!!!! *runs around* Finally it is the weekend! It has been such a long week and I can't be more glad for it to be finally over. Also today was so nice and work went by quickly except for the table sliding into my side...-.- The concert went smoothly from what I hear and they really cleaned up after themselves (normally the band and crew totally trash the place). We also got cookies today, they were so good and huge too.
To top it off it was nice and sunny this afternoon! When I got home all I did was sit on the dock and watch the fish. The bluegill have come in and there is a 4 pound bass under the dock currently. tomorrow I am looking foward to getting my pole and catching dinner! I just love living on the lake, the sunsets are amazing too and it is like living in the woods because we look on to a park. Just can't wait to relax tomorrow.

Oh man, I have been so busy lately! Just started working last week and have hardly had a moment to myself. Back to getting up at 6 am everyday now >_<. Work has been interesting. We have been setting up got a concert all week, tonight Tim McGraw and Faith Hill will be playing. Today we are just fine tuning everything and seeing if we need to move anything. This is my first time working a concert and it is kinda cool watching them put the lighting and stuff in. And they have tons of stuff! there is like 20 trucks and 18 buses.
The weather has been crappy...lots of rain and thunderstorms around here. And it haled yesterday. Looks like it will be clearing up and getting a little warmer around here.
Hopeing to go to a movie tonight with my friend before she leaves to visit her dad. We are looking at seeing MI3, should be interesting. We watched MirrorMask the other day and that was one odd yet good movie. The story is by Neil Gaiman, so you could see his touches, and it moved along at a good pace. Its very different and well done, blending real actors with the CG ones, kinda a treat for the eyes. But thats just me, I tend to like movies like that.

I had the best time at the anime con last weekend! I went to Anime Central in the Chicago area from Friday to Sunday. Went with a few high school friends and some people I meet last year. There was some amazing costums this year and the people are always great. And I got phat loots as Susan would say. Some fanart and Advent Children stuff makes up most of it, but I also got a few japanese comics. Now I really want to go to Otakon in August!
Along with my anime con I started work this week -.-. While it is good to be making money again I don't like getting up at 6:00 every morning. But I work for the University at home and help take care of the playing surfaces and setup for events and things. One of the great things is we sometimes get food! Also I work with the best and funniest people in the world, it really makes the days go by. But this summer I expect to be outside a lot again painting and polishing the hockey glass.
