Have you ever wanted a job and been shot down by THE POWERS THAT BE? Duke has....you see THE POWERS THAT BE do not allow free thinking, they discourage anything that goes against their new wave, this is how it has to be, POS agenda and have become colluding minions to their own program. Opinions be dammed unless you agree. Now I know I sound like I have lost my mind and maybe I have but there is a good reason for it. I wanted a job that I have performed before a couple of times and I patiently waited my turn only to be denied. All because I disagreed with THE POWERS THAT BE.
Now I apologize for not being able to give specific details bc some of this can only be divulged on a need to know basis, but I will try to paint a picture of what happened. You see I belong to this really cool group, ( what group you ask, well that's one of those need to know things - heh) and one day I noticed something that I felt did not represent the group ( what group you ask, well that's one of those need to know things - heh) well, the topic it was about or I basically thought it was a sh**ty idea. Now you would think that by me being a member of the group ( what group you ask, well that's one of those need to know things - heh) and a human being I would have a right not to like it and to express my opinion about it right?. WRONG.
Since THE POWERS THAT BE liked it and Duke didn't that made Duke the bad guy. The guy who is always starting stuff and trust me THE POWERS THAT BE do not like stuff. They'd rather collude amongst themselves and decide what is good and what is not. Well that is fine because THE POWERS THAT BE make all the decisions. However does that mean that Duke must agree with the POWERS THAT BE. Dam right it does because if Duke disagrees with THE POWERS THAT BE , then he gets smited and is denied the job that he has been waiting on for so long.
Be careful, because if you ask THE POWERS THAT BE why Duke was denied, they are likely to give some BS answer like, "we don't think Duke is the type of person that we want in that job at this time", That of course is BS because as stated before Duke has already held that job twice before. The only thing that has changed is that Duke's RECENTLY disagreed with THE POWERS THAT BE. So be careful, THE POWERS THAT BE will lie, they will pee on you and then tell you its raining. UT OH - wait a second.............I can hear them in the background saying, "no we don't lie". Well neither does George Bush, but of course that is another story.
Bottom line THE POWERS THAT BE have allowed another situation which has nothing to do with, is Duke qualified to hold the position. yea I am qualified, I have been in the group ( what group you ask, well that's one of those need to know things - heh) longer than most of them and have forgotten more knowledge about what the group ( what group you ask, well that's one of those need to know things - heh) is about than they will acquire in their lifetime. Now do you think after reading this THE POWERS THAT BE will come to the conclusion and realize that THE POWERS THAT BE made a mistake by mixing apples with oranges? LMAO - allow me to answer for THE POWERS THAT BE - "NEVER HAPPEN TROOP". You see THE POWERS THAT BE are never wrong and getting the THE POWERS THAT BE to admit it would be like passing a kidney stone the size of a 16" clincher.
Wow - Do I sound mad, yer dam right I am, you see this position is not about judging ones ability to kiss arse or follow the minions or agree with Duke's twisted modus operandi, the position is about determining who can continue to carry the torch so that the group ( what group you ask, well that's one of those need to know things - heh) continues to shine in a truly dark world.

I respectively reserve the right to continue to berate THE POWERS THAT BE for their miscalculated denial of service, because I will still be here when THE POWERS THAT BE have gone the way of the dinosaur and been replaced by a new group of POWERS THAT BE who do not hold grudges, who allow free thinking and who can admit when they are wrong.

This is simply to keep the 8 emails i get from not blogging to stop cluttering up my mailbox................hmmm
On second thought I do have a little to say. Has anyone noticed that FSFDuke has not snapped lately. Strange how one can get so much feedback from snapping but then when one doesn't snap its quiet. real quiet. Is that a good thing, i'll let you decide.
Moving on - I have been locked into watching some great shows and I hope they all return. Starting off with the Sarah Conner chronicles, moving to the Sheild, the Bionic Woman then Lost and finally Battlestar Galactica. We'll keep this one short and comeback when we really have issues.
BTW I dare you haters to vote for McCain. We really need 4 more years of stay the course and same ol shit - did i say shit...............oops - Jeesh I live in a country full of Frakkin idiots. People wake up its time for a change.

It is a truly beautiful day when I have nothing to say, that means all is right in the world right?..................get real. As long as we continue our fruitless attempt to control the Iraqi people things will never be ok. BTW - have you noticed that the name Iraqi has a "q" in it that is not following by a "u", hmm somthing is wrong with that. Anyway I guess I have said enough about the WAR here and in my previous blogs. Time to move on.
HMM - I know , lets talk about good and evil. Now as we know good almost always conquers evil ( notice the "u" after the "q" ). When I was a kid I can remember the nun ( can you believe Duke went to a catholic school? well yes he did ) asking us about some movie that had recently come out, I cant remember the name of it because that was like 40 yrs ago, but i do remember this. Her question was what did you like or dislike about the movie. Well little FSFduke ( oops I wasn't FSFDuke then ) umm little Dwayne stood up and said he hated the movie bc the good guy won and it was unrealistic the way he did it. " How come movies are not more like real life where the winners are sometimes good and sometimes evil" Her response was something to the effect that when you get older you should write your own movies and
everyone laughed at me.
Yea yea yea I felt bad, but I knew I had a point then and now that I remember that scenario I have a point now. Nothing much has changed in Hollywood the good guygal still wins and even when the bad person wins heshe is the good person. So what shall we do about that. In terms of hollywood not a dam thing, but in the simming universe I have an idea.
Let's create a new sim called the USS-Pillager. This ship would be comprised of renegade ST officers who have little regard for others and none for the prime directive. Although their purpose would still be exploration, they wouldn't hesitate to take what they wanted from an inferior technilogically advance people. Remember the ENT episode when Archer stole a ship's warp coil. Now granted he did that bc he was on a mission to save Earth but does that make it right? Of course it does. Now the officers on the Pillager would do even worse things. They would torture people, steal from them and destory their entire civilization if necessary or if they got mad. Comments are welcome but this sounds like fun.
Addendum:
Moving on with the idea this ships crew would need to have a purpose and not just exploration. Seeing as the borg are the scruge of the universe I suggest that the ship be comprised of officers who 1) fell out of favor with ST, 2) had a family member or members assimilated or killed by the borg, or 3) ones who are game for bucking the norm. Now just because these officers now longer follow the prime directive doesnt mean that they are immoral. They just are willing to do WHATEVER it takes to get the job done.

Here I am early in the morning about to celebrate ( not literally but in spirit ) the birthday of a great man. That would of course be Martin Luther King jr. Even though I was alive during his rise to fame I was young and remember little about what I actually saw during that time. Well excuse me for being ancient.
This bring me to this. I wake up to find that our president G W B, has decided to send an additional 20,000 troops over to Iraq. Has he lost his mind? Or is he just going ot be defiant in regards to how the public feels about his personal little war. The majority of Americans want our troops out of Iraq and for the first time since this war started, the majority of our troops feel the same way as Americans civilians. We need to get the FRAK out of Iraq. ( btw isnt it great that I can say Frak when I am mad and not get censored, I love it )
Everyday we stay there we create more enemies, more terrorists. His excuse, we need a stable middle East and why not deal with this issue now rather than having to deal with it later. On the surface that makes all the sense in the world. But reality states that the middle East is far more unstable now than it was before we captured Saddam which eventually lead to his death Was Saddam a bad man? Of course he was but at least he held his country in check which is more than I can say for their current administration. ( See 60 minutes interview with the president last night )
The death of Saddam created a power vacuum in that country which several factions are trying to fill. And we are simply prolonging a civil war that is inevitable. In fact it is going on right under our noses. Many parents of troops who have died in Iraw say please do not let our sons and daughters die in vane and I can understand their feelings. However, eventually we need to understand that it is time to cut our losses, bring our people home. It may look like we are admitting defeat which is exactly what it would be but this is a battle we can not win
With that said there are only two things left to say. Happy Birthday Martin Luther ( we could learn a lot from your message of peace ) and GO CHICAGO BEARS!!!!!!!!!

First of all I am really pissed off bc my first blog attempt didnt save and now I have to do it all over again; UGHHHHHHHHHHHHH!! - Anway Someone said to me " Hey Duke, how come you have not done a blog ". My response was that I thought blogging was to tell people your daily activities and since I didn't want anyone to know my daily activites I decided not to blog . However, now that I know I can blog about whatever I want to blog about I decided to blog about this.
First let's talk about the FSF. I have often wondered how many Black people are in the FSF, bc surely I am not the only one right? So if your Black and an FSF member stand up right now like a Marine and yell "HOO RAAH". ::stands:: "HOO RAAH", good now that that's over with I feel so much better. Now for the racists, NOTE* if you racists and your an FSF member STOP reading right now because your not going to like what I am about to say.
Not too many thing on this planet that I hate more than a racist. However one of these days ( remember Independence Day the movie ), when those asshole, excuse my french, aliens come down here to steal our resourses, and me and some racist rat bastard are in a fox hole together waiting to ambush them. And the racist gets shot.........and then suddenly I pour gun powder into the wound and set it on fire and save hisher miserable life.....After we finish kicking their alien butts back to whereverTF they came from, dont come looking for me to say TY bc I dont need it. I would have done the same for any of the 6+ billion people on this planet regardless of their racial prejudices or anything else for that matter bc I love Earthlings..............even the ones I hate.
Moving on along - WTF are we still doing in Iraq, we already caused the execution of a Head of State which I thought was unconstitutional maybe........I am wrong. And dont give me the BS about the Iraqi's killed him, bc we were the noose behind the executioners. Hey bring our frakkin troops home and let them have their civil WAR - For god's sake they are killing their own people doesnt that tell you something.
Probably not bc you one of the same idiots that voted George Bush back into office. You know the best thing about Bush winning the last election? We never have to worry about his sorry ass being president ever again. I mean how in god name could we elect the son of a former president. This aint England.
